        Using Microsoft Word, I created an infographic material to raise awareness about safety precautions to avoid contracting the COVID virus. COVID-19 is capable of causing mild to severe disease, as well as death. It is easily transmitted to people. This is why individuals should receive the COVID-19 vaccination. COVID-19 vaccine is still the most effective way to control the pandemic. Nevertheless, it is important to learn how to protect yourself against this illness. First, always wear a face mask properly. Afterward, wash your hands multiple times a day with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds. COVID-19 is a virus that can be transmitted by water droplets. That is why, even if you are vaccinated or wearing a mask, you should keep at least 6 feet away from other individuals who are not in your household. Personal things should not be shared, and all "high-touch" places in the house should be disinfected. Last but not least, if you're sick, stay at home. It is best to prevent infecting others than to cure them. Always avoid 3c's, close-contact settings, crowded places, and confined and enclosed spaces, as the chance of infection is higher in these places.
